I am a married (55 years) female, mandolin player, having started when I was 60 years old. I play an Eastman 515.
I like bluegrass, classic country, fiddle and gospel songs. I am not into this new music. I belong to our Pineridge Bluegrass Club based out of Oshawa, ON.
I am an avid knitter and love to crochet. I volunteer at our local hospital, once a week, and work at the volunteer run thrift store once a week. All of the items I make are donated to our Gift Shop.
Our whole province is in lock down right now, so home all the time.
My husband is a banjo player and we use to hold a jam in our home once a week, until lock down, and hopefully will be able to get back at it when this virus is under control.
We use to spend the summers going to Music Festivals in our motorhome, and with any luck at all they will continue although two have already been cancelled for this summer.
