Nice update! Congrats. iPhone pro 13 max ios 26.2.1, the diamond for ringing strum, when followed by rests, continues guitar strums through the rests. The other instruments rest but guitar plays through.
Dig the count-in pan!

Thanks for the bug report! I’ve made a note and will fix it soon.
If you could let me know when it’s fixed I will go back to using Beta, which I enjoy and prefer. I assume you like having subscribers that use the Beta and are willing to report bugs and I like doing it. I guess I’m giving you a poke on this bug issue.
Thanks Luke.
Yes, I love to have people using the beta!
I’m unable to reproduce this in the current beta version (which I just updated today with a big update). Could you give it another try with the current version (v436) and see if you still have the issue? If so, send/email me a link to an affected song. Thanks!
Thanks Luke.
Are you talking about the little percussive sound that the guitar makes on the downbeats during extended rests?
Strum Machine used to do this all the time awhile ago. It went away inadvertently at some point. Now it’s back, but controllable with this switch under Settings > Playback & BPM:
Note that I’m reusing the first sound in the dampened guitar “count-in” only as a temporary placeholder. It will be replaced with the sound of hitting the body of the guitar (or bass) with the palm, yielding a deeper “thump”.
