I saw someone ask about 6/8, but I would really appreciate 5/4 time (think Take Five). I know this would be difficult, but there is currently no way to emulate it with any current time signatures.
Not Take Five, but Mission Impossible. It should give you an idea on how it can be done. Or you can compound/change the time signature of each measure as need (e.g. 2/4-3/4 and again)
Yeah, Take Five is technically possible by switching between 3/4 and 2/4. The problem becomes the syncopation in the 3/4 (“1 & _ & 3”) which is a strumming pattern that I have not yet added to Strum Machine. Someday…
Exactly! Mauro’s solution was inventive, but it is not going to work for anything that is actually in 5/4 time (like Take Five or Mission Impossible).
