The idea with blindfold mode is that you have full functionality of Strum Machine, but when you open a song, the chords are redacted. You are still able to see the key and settings, a part, b part ect, just chords redacted. For ear training and to ween yourself off of looking at the chords.

I like to watch another video such as trains in Switzerland while Iām learning a tune. It would accomplish the same thing - chords are on a different page that is behind the trains. This technique helps me push the playing down into the lower part of my brain. The hope is it becomes second nature.
I can see 2 options. Firstly you. could just turn the computer to face away from you. Secondly, you could download the SM track to an mp3 and play along with that.
