Changing the chord on the third beat of a waltz

Can I change chord on third beat in waltz time? Like: D D A.

Yes! Select the chord in Strum Machine’s song editor, then go to the Chart menu and click “Subdivide beat”. You’ll then see buttons for each beat, which you can use to (for example) change the third beat to A instead of D.
