I mentioned this a while back, apologies if I missed your answer. SM is GREAT especially for improvising. However, if one wants to really work on their timing and note spacing, a click is much more precise. I would like to see an optional click track along with the instruments with a separate volume control. Possibly in one channel so one could hear the click in headphones (in one channel…possibly using a stereo to mono adapter cable) but would not be heard if you are recording your performance (via the other channel).

Yes, this is definitely coming! The plan is to get the new strumming patterns out there, which will also involve adding new instruments/mixing/presets functionality. Once that’s done, it’ll be a great time to add a “click instrument” to the lineup.
