I am new to Strum Machine and was wondering if there is any way to copy the chords of a tune from Chordify, and paste them into Strum Machine, instead of entering them manually
Sorry, you can’t copy and paste from other apps, as the underlying format is too different. I do hope to offer importing features someday, although I somewhat doubt importing from Chordify will be an option as they seem to only offer MIDI and PDF exporting, which would not be easy to convert back into a chord chart.
You can copy and paste chords from one part of a Strum Machine chord chart to another in the Strum Machine editor. I know that’s not what you asked but I wanted to mention it as it does speed up the process of adding new chord charts sometimes.
By using the editor’s keyboard shortcuts and with practice and experience, I think you’ll be surprised at how quickly you can enter a new chord chart into Strum Machine…
