Recently the blinking yellow cursor disappears after a line or two of the song. The cursor reappears at the top when the song cycles around to the beginning and then disappears a few lines later. It doesn’t always happen but now happens most of the time. This problem has only appeard in the last few weeks.
I am runnin WIndows 11 Pro on a new HP laptop.
Thanks for reporting this Charles. I haven’t received any other reports of it but I did do a big update a few weeks ago so it could be related to that. Have you noticed it being tied to any particular song or does it happen on any/every song? I’m guessing the latter. What browser are you using to access Strum Machine or did you install the desktop app?
Thansk for answering. I haven;t noticed any particular type of song that it occurs on. But ti happens about 90% of the time now and seems to be getting worse. I have installed the desktop app and am using that, though it still seems to be linked to Chrome.
Oh, wait a minute… does the yellow highlight stop appearing over the chords, or is the issue that the song doesn’t automatically scroll down to keep the current chord on the screen? The latter is an issue that has been brought to my attention and that I am investigating and hopefully will be fixing later this week.
Its the yellow highlight that diappears. I haven;t noticed a problem with scrolling although I’m not sure I play any tunes where the chords don’t fit on the screen.
Now it seems to be working again. Must be some sort of conflict that is now resolved. I’ll et you know when it recurs.
Glad to hear it seems to be resolved. I did fix some other bugs last week so maybe this one was related to those.
