Let’s play a game of call-and-response with the D Major Scale. This will help you to:
:ear:Develop your ear
:guitar:Play with others
:bulb:Practice and play creatively

HOW THIS WORKS

  1. Listen to what I play
  2. Play it back
  3. Repeat the exercise until you can easily play back what you hear

Here’s the D Major scale: D0-1-2-3-A0-1-2-3. Warm up with that and a D drone before we begin. This is a key step. During the game I won’t indicate finger positions because I want you to develop your ear.
