"Double Time" Spoken Count-In

Hi Luke,
how about implementing a spoken Count-In that’s twice as fast. So I can continue counting e.g. a standard banjo roll as eigth 8th note in a 4/4 measure instead of eight 16th notes in a 2/4 measure. I personally use the dampened strum and mentally count it as I like, but many of my students need the “numbers”. I hope you know what I mean.

I echo this. Strumachine is a critical piece of my teaching tool and I can’t thank Luke enough.

The count in throws my students off. I tell them about cut time and then it counts in 1 2 3 4 and instead to hear the 3 4 as another 1 2.

I simple click option would be great too instead of the words.

Again just a suggestion I love this app!!

I’m hopeful that this option will be one of the many good improvements coming in 2026!
