Luke, using the dampened bass note and strum pattern I’m noticing the ‘and’ strum shows up mostly at the end of 2 bars or 4 bars but occasionally it’s in the first bar. I can’t figure out if it’s programmed to be random or if there’s a bigger picture I’m not seeing? If it were up to me, and there was only one choice, I’d probably put it only at the end of every 4th bar.
It’s currently randomized so as not to be too repetitive; there’s a 70% chance of an upstroke on the even bars, 20% chance on the odd bars. But this is just the first draft. This could potentially be an option you could set.
