New Celtic Jig Style

Disclaimer: My focus is only the Cape Breton Celtic style. I’ll quote two examples:

Crossing To Ireland YouTube, my first pass at using the Celtic style in Strum Machine. One thing to consider is in Cape Breton, the piano is primarily used instead of the guitar. To cut it down to where the guitar can play it at that slow tempo, I changed it to use your Celtic Boom Chuck pattern. I will assume you’ll soon add the ability to change the chuck volume, timing, etc. I’d lean more on the 1 beat.

2nd Example here. You can hear that the rhythm leans hard on the 3 beat. The 1 beat is the foot tapping. Maybe I’d call it Chuck Boom? I wonder if I can do that with a volume adjustment of the Celtic Boom Chuck.

Luke - you’ve emailed a response. I’ll respond here. I expect that the added ability to control the timing and volume of the Celtic Boom Chuck will go a long way towards making the new Celtic band setting work for what I’m trying to do with it.

No hurry on adding piano! I don’t know anyone in Wyoming who can play Celtic piano style.
