Prior to the existence of Coda, I’d add a last time only section with one resolving cord to end the tune. The rhythm wasn’t right because it added an extra beat. This is the right way to use the Coda feature:

By the way, I believe that the “canonical” place to write the To Coda instruction is just before the last measure line where it changes to the coda. But Strum Machine will behave the same whether “To Coda” comes before or after the measure line. (I myself assumed it came after the line until I was researching it this year to implement the feature.)
