Hi Daniel, that is an 1/8 note followed by a 1/4 note etc. I was giving a rhythmic beat. As opposed to strum chuck chuck.

Thanks for the explanation, Paul. Would that be du udu, with the initial d being a single string pluck and the rest being strums? I guess it could all be strums although my brain is kind of programmed for an initial single string pluck.
That’s how I interpret it as well: down up, up down (up). A very syncopated sound. Strum Machine can’t do this yet but it’s on my list of strumming patterns to add in the future.
