I used to be able to convert chord charts to PDF within the program. Now I have to do it Acrobat??? Cost $70 a year. What happened to that feature?
Hi John, when I need a PDF of a chart, I just do CRTL Print > select Save to PDF> select the file you need it saved to. In your printer menu options you should have also Adobe PDF and Microsoft Print to PDF. Perhaps you already know all of the above, but just in case.
Yeah, this was never a feature of Strum Machine itself. Modern computer operating systems all have some version of a “Print to PDF” feature, which is how you can make PDFs of Strum Machine charts. Sounds like Acrobat might be getting in the way of that on your computer. Hopefully Mauro’s suggestion works for you. You could also try uninstalling Acrobat if you have it installed but don’t actually need it.
I click share then print. I name the file in the print menu. It saves it as a PDF. Acrobat Reader is free to download. Libra is free and includes PDF software. Many PDF softwares are free to dowload.
Checking this out I find that in my Windows 11 system, share, then “Microsoft print to pdf” does not show the chord chart in proper alignment and size. It is in correct alignment for my Brother Printer; and as Douglas says, “Save to pdf” choice works. Although we can make a pdf, maybe there is another very minor glitch on that possible menu choice, or I have a bug.
