Ray Price walking bass

I’m trying to program a steady 13531353, and 135686531 Ray Price style walking bass line via splitting the measures and assigning bass notes withe root guitar chord and the computer chooses the wrong octave for the 1 chord. The supplied walking bass in band selection is too random for me. Anyone been able to master this.?

I wish the bass was able to be controlled like the guitar strumming style. It seems the bass walks are a little overboard. I’d really like a simple blues style option

Thanks, good to know this is something folks want. I was thinking to add some customization options to the walking bass style so that you can get it to use simpler repeating patterns like 13568653 and 13531353.

Assigning bass notes manually is on the table for the future as well, but that will take more time and I’d like to be able to make the most commonly desirable options (like these simple patterns) easy to select without manually having to set them up.
