Sometimes when the strum machine window is made as narrow as possible, going into edit mode doesn’t allow you to edit the tile. In this state click on Discard → The title has the pencil next to it. See screenshots (it should not)
Very interesting! I was unable to reproduce this on my Mac, although I have an idea of how it would be theoretically possible. I will be refreshing that particular component of the editor sometime later this year or early next year and I suspect this particular bug will be eliminated as a result of other improvements I’ll be making to the codebase.
Is this a rare bug for you or has it been annoying you more than once in a blue moon?
There is an easy workaround so this is really not a high priority bug.
I see this same problem occasionally. Click out and back in and sometimes it is solved and I can edit the title of the tune.
I’ve also run into this bug. But it hasn’t occurred enought times for me to have any idea what might be causing it. Usually exiting Edit mode and going back to Edit mode clears it up. But when that doesn’t work, quit the app aand reopen.
I had this happen too on PC. Just found this.
The latest beta version of Strum Machine has a new title-editing component which will hopefully work more reliably in all situations. Let me know if you find this not to be true!
