What beat setting to use for playing bluegrass

Has anybody experimented with putting the beat ahead of the beat or behind a beat for a different kind of drive?
Which instruments do you like to push forward or behind the beat and at what percentages?

I’ll be happy to hear about everyone’s different settings so I can try to achieve more “drive” or “drag“ when needed

This doesn’t answer your question because no, I havent. You should just try it and see if you like it. I am pretty sure the capibility is there on the main page. For me, I play melody with plenty of push and pull, but I like to do it over a strict-time rhythm section.
