What else can you choose beside standard time 4/4 or 3/4?

I am new here.
As I see it, in Strum Machine you have the option of 4/4 or 3/4 standard time.
There’s no option for a kind of Rumba Rhythm like Johnnie & Jack often had it in their songs in the 50s.
Is it really limited like this in Strum Machine?

At the moment, Strum Machine doesn’t really support any Latin rhythms. This will probably change someday, although I would still classify Rumba as a 4/4 time signature, just with a different strumming pattern, percussion, etc.

The closest you can get right now is probably one of the syncopated boom chuck strums:

You can find these by opening Band Settings under a song title, then clicking Guitar, then clicking on the strumming pattern to change it.

Thank you Luke, could you tell me how I can back the song “Contrabandistas” from Willie Nelson & Kimmie Rhodes?
I tried to upload this song, but as a new user I’m not enabled to do this.

The strumming pattern would be like this:
dpwm / up (long) / up / down / up / down / up
down / up (long) / up / down / up / down / up

You’d want to use one of those same rhythm patterns I mentioned above, which should work even better for this song as that’s literally what the guitar is playing: D DU UDU.

If you’re new to making chord charts in Strum Machine, here’s a tutorial video.
