Usually the count-in starts on the off-beat, rather than the proper down beat–so that I have to start it over. It’s really annoying , especially for recording. Other times it’s OK and starts on the down beat. How do I fix that?
Sorry about that. Is it correct to assume you’re using a Bluetooth speaker? Sometimes it takes them half a second to come out of their internal standby mode and they’ll drop the first beat.
In the new beta version there’s a Delay option for the count-in, which gives Strum Machine a chance to “wake up” the speaker before starting playback.
If the beta isn’t working for you for some reason, 1) let me know, and 2) you can find an “Extra playback delay” setting in the normal app in the top-left menu > Advanced Settings.
